Sonny Rollins will go down in history as not only the single most enduring tenor saxophonist of the bebop and hard bop era, but also as one of the greatest contemporary jazz saxophonists of them all.

One of jazz’s greatest improvisors, his fluid and harmonically innovative ideas, effortless manner, and easily identifiable and accessible sound have influenced generations of performers.

Jeremy_WendelinJeremy Wendelin has been a freelance musician in the Denver area since 2000, when he received his M.Ed from the University of Puget Sound. While at Puget Sound, he  founded a jazz combo, and played with guest artists from Ray Brown to Poncho Sanchez to Art Farmer. Since 2001, Jeremy has led his jazz groups at clubs, festivals, concerts, and events. In addition, he frequently plays with other small groups and big bands. He has performed at many prominent Denver-area jazz clubs and throughout Colorado at festivals and concerts.
