Marguerite Juenemann has an on-going performance career of 30 years, nominated twice for a Grammy, toured in Benny Goodman’s band in the 80’s playing prestigious stages nationally and internationally. Her solo career performance experience covers R & B, Folk, Gospel, Bluegrass, Blues and Jazz on stage and in the studio. “She sings with a deep, rich tone in a voice that obviously has strength, but which — while being strong — still manages to entice the listener.”
betty She will be approaching the music of two of the most challenging, dynamic voices in the jazz world – that of Betty Carter and Abbey Lincoln, abbey
with the very able assistance of pianist Doug Roche, bassist Mark Simon and drummer Paul Romaine. As always, this will be a listening event for the devoted jazz fan and will include a gourmet Indian dinner with libations.
